They Grow Up So Fast...

For those of you who remember, a little while back we ran a competition on the IDW forums to find "THE NEXT TF COVER ARTIST." After a few months the comp ended and we had 3 winners.

Today, we opened our inbox to the best email we have received in a long time. Our good friend, Casey [link] Coller has just completed his first "paid" Transformers cover, for IDW.

Chris Ryall, Publisher / Editor in Cheif of IDW, has recently posted this picture on his blog; [link]

The project wants to send out a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Casey, and hope that this is only the beggining for him.

I saw it earlier today, and I must say, it was awesome. His skill has grown tremendously in the past year. I'm almost jealous, but its great to see him doing so well. He's a great person and an awesome artist. He deserves every bit of it. And btw, will do ;) *points to request in the last sentence*

Totally agree. It's great to see who his art has grown, and that cover just proves how good he's got.

Booo i should have won! Lol jus kidding. I'm very bitter but Casey was a VERY worthy winner and he is a great artist.

However well done to IDW and yourself Josh for running the competition in the first place. It offered people a great chance of getting more exposure and I got to interact with many great new people and artists while taking part in that contest.

Perhaps IDW could do another one soon, maybe not just for Transformers.
